A command vehicle whose body opens hydraulically on site to triple its floor area. Built on a 6x4 heavy chassis, it arrives as a truck and becomes a meeting room for dozens of people — the difference between a vehicle that carries a command team and one that gives them somewhere to work.
| Base chassis | 6x4 heavy-truck chassis with stabilising jacks |
|---|---|
| Body | Hydraulically expanding side section, sealed when deployed |
| Floor area | Expanded area sized for a conference of dozens of personnel |
| Facilities | Conference seating, displays, communications rack, climate control |
| Deployment | Self-levelling jacks and hydraulic expansion from the vehicle's own power |
| Delivery | Complete vehicle with operator training on deployment |
A command vehicle that cannot expand is a corridor with radios in it. Once more than four people need to look at the same map, the vehicle layout becomes the constraint on the response. A hydraulic expansion changes the arithmetic: the body arrives road-legal and opens into a room large enough for a multi-agency briefing.
The engineering difficulty is not the expansion itself but the seal. A slide-out section that leaks at the joint is worse than no slide-out at all — it lets water in, loses heat, and eventually jams. Our sections use a double seal with a mechanical lock, and the floor is designed so that the joint is flush when deployed rather than leaving a step for people to trip over.
Deployment is designed to be done by two people in minutes: jacks level the vehicle, the sections run out on their own hydraulic circuit, and the interior furniture is either fixed or folds from the wall. Nothing requires a separate generator or a crane.
Each configuration is a starting point — equipment, layout and finish are set per order.
Single-side expansion with conference seating for a multi-agency briefing.
Both sides expand, creating the largest floor area for extended operations.
Fixed operator positions, video wall and radio bank rather than conference seating.
Combined briefing space with a small rest area for extended deployments.
The same platform carries different fit-outs depending on who operates it.
Bringing police, fire, medical and civil defence into one room at the scene.
A temporary control room for events that have no permanent facility.
A command post that can be established where buildings are unusable.
Every unit is re-engineered to your specification.

Military-grade Mengshi off-road chassis with integrated communication suite — the first link in emergency communications.

Large box body on a Volvo heavy chassis with satellite, trunked radio, MESH networking and video conferencing.
Minutes, with two people, once the crew is trained. We provide deployment training with the vehicle and a written procedure.
The body is designed with the deployed section locked mechanically and sealed, and the chassis is stabilised on jacks before expansion. We supply the structural calculation with the vehicle.
The vehicle can be driven with the sections retracted and the interior configured for travel. The command functions require the vehicle stationary and stabilised.
